A distraction for the day, (C) Roy Jenner Kerikeri. Do you remember Bobby McGee? She is the one who thumbed a diesel down, just before the rain. What of the driver of that rig? What became of him? Blowing Sad deals with that. Read on.

“The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils; The motions of his spirit are dull as night, And his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music.” ― Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

174,000 words represent a powerful amount of reading. Some of my books exceed that amount. More than 50 chapters in several cases. With $1.99 being a standard basic price for each publication. That could be recognised as good value for money. Somewhere around 9 cents for every thousand words, but not so if those words were rubbish and not worth piecing together. My books are not that way inclined. Every novel contains a credible story designed to intrigue and captivate the reader. This happens on a regular basis with every ‘i’ dotted with passion and every ‘t’ crossed with intensity. Read ‘The Bringing Down of the Hawk’ and ‘There Is No Hiding Place'. Read 'The Shadow of the Black Sheep’ and feel the inclination to agree with me. Each is available on Barnes and Noble as an Ebook.

You will know the feeling, almost sad, when you turn the last page of a book you have really enjoyed. “I wish it hadn’t ended. All those people - those characters - I will miss them.” That is the empathy, the passion I build into all of my books. I know these people as will you know them when you complete ‘The Shadow of the Black Sheep.’ Share their trials and challenges. Travel with them through a world of love, music and heartache. Share their joy and successes and grieve with them over their losses. And when it ends say, ‘All those people. I will miss them. I wish it hadn’t ended.’ All this for $1.99.
